Welcome to the website for the National Belgian Futurity (NBF).  Involving more than 150 breeders from  19 states and provinces, the NBF has established itself as the standard of futurity programs for all draft breeds.  As the terminology implies, the basis for the program is funded upon the future prospects and possibilities for the Belgian breed, the ultimate goal being to produce a better animal while generating a return on investment.

Since the NBF was established in 1994, more than 1800 horses have participated.  Within just the first three years, growth of the program warranted the addition of both Eastern and Western Regional Shows.  The single highest paying premium-per-entry for any Belgian exhibition in the U.S. is attributable to the unparalleled support shown the NBF.
